Gwenn Kudler Gelfand,

Gwenn Kudler Gelfand is a licensed certified social worker with more than thirty years of experience in child, adolescent, and adult psychotherapy, with a deep specialization in the treatment of eating disorders.

Since 1985, Gwenn has been on staff at Cohen Children's Hospital, a division of the North Shore–Long Island Jewish Health System, where she has worked in the departments of Psychiatry and Adolescent Medicine. She maintains a private practice at 1113 York Avenue on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, and also sees clients by telehealth throughout New York State.

She is also on the staff of Sobel Affiliates, an insurance agent for numerous summer camps, where she works as a consultant on child and adolescent issues — writing articles and lecturing at camps throughout the country.

Gwenn received her Bachelor of Social Work from Cornell University and her Master of Social Work from Columbia University, and has extensive specialized training in the field of eating disorders.
